Giles Tettey Nartey is a British-Ghanaian multidisciplinary artist and architect. His research-based practice spans filmmaking, installation, performance, and object design, with a focus on material cultures and the relationship between craft and ritual. Nartey’s work navigates the material and immaterial, bridging academia and practice through art-led investigations, often incorporating designed objects alongside found and archival materials.

Nartey is an Associate Professor at the Bartlett School of Architecture and co-leads a diploma unit at the Architectural Association School of Architecture. He also serves on the steering committee for the Institute of Advanced Studies, Africa Research Centre (UCL) and is a visiting critic at the African Futures Institute (AFI).
